Online Course Zbrush – Is a 10-week digital sculpting course designed to teach you classic figure sculpting techniques using ZBrush. During the course, students not only sculpt a complete male figure, but also do short studies several times a week. Each week, full-enrollment students submit their work-in-progress sculpts to Scott and receive a video review and ‘sculpt-over’ showing where changes need to be made to advance the sculpt to the next level of realism.
This course will teach you the artistic fundamentals of his figurative sculpting, and explore his ZBrush workflow and techniques that Scott uses daily to create his own digital sculpting. For a weekly breakdown of sculpture assignments and examples of Scott’s sculptures, see the Figure Sculpture blog.
Online Course Zbrush
The goal of this course is to provide students with a solid foundation in the artistic and technical aspects of digital figure sculpture. Weekly lessons consist of video lectures covering the basics of figure sculpting, ZBrush techniques, Q&A videos, and sculpting over challenges. Lecture topics include:
Character Modeling And Sculpting In Zbrush Course
In addition to the final full body image, students complete weekly projects that focus on body parts (fragments). Students are also encouraged to participate in weekly drawing assignments to improve this critical skill for becoming an accomplished artist.
Full registration gives students access to direct feedback from Scott, weekly sculpt-overs on assignments, and her Q&A time. Space is limited to maintain a high level of interaction with each student. Priority for full enrollment space will be given to graduates of the Anatomy for Artists course. Additionally, proven proficiency with ZBrush is required.
The standard enrollment is more flexible and open to all students regardless of Zbrush experience or anatomy studies. Students have access to all the same learning materials as full-enrolled students (video lectures, resources, assignment materials, access to forums), but without direct feedback from Scott. More information on registration options can be found here. Realistic 3d Character With Zbrush
My name is Niko. I am his 3D character his artist and teacher. I started working in the games industry 14 years before him, and after many games and characters, he now teaches game art at ARC Academy and creates online courses. You’ve probably landed on my his YouTube channel, Speedchar.
In this course you will learn Zbrush, Blender and Substance Painter from scratch. How to create a character like this from high poly, how to fix the mesh using retopology and UVs (all in Zbrush), prepare it for baking in Blender, then bake it in Substance Painter to create the texture. Learn
As a bonus, create poses and render both high and low poly for a better presentation.
Start with the basics of Zbrush. Next, learn how to make and sculpt a female head. Then put your most used brushes in her main Ui to make them easily accessible and at least double her speed. Below we bring the concept into Zbrush and start sculpting from the sphere. We’ll take a closer look at all the sculpting methods and techniques required to create this character. Once it’s colored and tweaked, I pose the superhero in Zbrush, create render passes, combine them in Photoshop, and use them in my portfolio render.

Then I start retopologizing manually in Zbrush using the t-pose version. Everything you need to know about how and why to retopology in Zbrush. Once the retopology is complete, unwrap the character again in Zbrush.
And finally it’s time to bring it to Blender. Familiarize yourself with Blender’s interface and features before you begin. Next, I quickly fixed some issues with the mesh, resized and placed her Uvs in her Blendet, and completely prepared Captain Fenex for texturing.
Then export the hero from her Blender, open Substance Painter and familiarize yourself with its interface and features. Then import your model there, bake all the maps you want and start creating materials. Why not experiment and have a little fun with the ingredients. After having fun, I’ll focus on exporting textures from Substance Painter.
Then comes the course bonus and experimentation section. Put the texture into Blender and check the model
